During the early stages of my career, I had the incredible opportunity to spend more than 18 months in India, embarking on multiple trips to establish strong professional connections with renowned couture embroidery factories. Through these valuable relationships, I gained profound insights into the world of high-end beadwork and embroidery. Drawing upon this expertise, I skillfully sourced and designed exquisite pieces, collaborating with talented Indian artists and esteemed businesses. These artisans and companies have a remarkable portfolio of crafting works for esteemed Haute Couture and high-end ready-to-wear (RTW) brands.
Handloom Webinar
I had the privilege of being commissioned by Newell Brands to conduct a captivating webinar centered around a subject close to my heart: the mesmerizing realm of Handloom Fabrics of India. I began the presentation by delving into the rich historical tapestry of Indian textiles. I then taught the participants about the intricate journey of fabric creation, from the delicate art of spinning the thread to the intricacies of weaving using the remarkable Jacquard mechanism.
Fine art Studies
